Al reconocer a uno de los agentes como su agresor en un hecho previo de robo y golpiza, la v\u00edctima intent\u00f3 huir, pero fue alcanzada metros adelante, sobre la calle 30 de enero.<br>Las indagatorias se\u00f1alan que los imputados habr\u00edan accionado sus armas de cargo y, pese a que la v\u00edctima ya se encontraba herida, descendieron del veh\u00edculo para golpearla, despojarla de sus pertenencias y obligarla a ocultarse en una milpa. Posteriormente, la oficial Berta \u201cN\u201d habr\u00eda amenazado de muerte a un testigo que intent\u00f3 auxiliar al lesionado, quien finalmente perdi\u00f3 la vida por un disparo de arma de fuego y por la omisi\u00f3n de auxilio.<br>Tras recabar datos de prueba, personal de la Fiscal\u00eda identific\u00f3 y detuvo a los ex polic\u00edas en las inmediaciones de la Direcci\u00f3n de Seguridad P\u00fablica Municipal, ubicada en la carretera Toluca\u2013Temoaya. Ambos fueron ingresados al Centro Penitenciario y de Reinserci\u00f3n Social de Santiaguito, donde un juez determin\u00f3 como medida cautelar la prisi\u00f3n preventiva justificada y estableci\u00f3 un plazo de dos meses para el cierre de la investigaci\u00f3n complementaria.<br>La Fiscal\u00eda record\u00f3 que, conforme al principio de presunci\u00f3n de inocencia, los imputados deber\u00e1n ser considerados inocentes hasta que exista una sentencia condenatoria en su contra.
