H\u00c9CTOR GARC\u00cdA IMPULSA MARCO LEGAL PARA CONSOLIDAR LA INDUSTRIA DEL MEZCAL EN EL EDOM\u00c9X<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Acad\u00e9micos, investigadores y maestros mezcaleros participan en la ruta hacia una industria con identidad, certeza jur\u00eddica y proyecci\u00f3n global<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tenancingo, EDOM\u00c9X.\u2014 Con la participaci\u00f3n directa de productores, comunidad cient\u00edfica y autoridades estatales, el diputado local H\u00e9ctor Garc\u00eda encabez\u00f3 una reuni\u00f3n de trabajo orientada a la construcci\u00f3n de la Ley del Mezcal del Estado de M\u00e9xico, una iniciativa que busca ordenar, proteger y detonar el crecimiento de este destilado con denominaci\u00f3n de origen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El encuentro se desarroll\u00f3 en el Centro de Estudios Universitarios de la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma del Estado de M\u00e9xico en Tenancingo, y reuni\u00f3 a cient\u00edficos, investigadores, acad\u00e9micos, funcionarios del ICAMEX y cerca de cien productores provenientes de los 15 municipios mexiquenses que obtuvieron la denominaci\u00f3n de origen del mezcal en noviembre de 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante su intervenci\u00f3n, el legislador del Grupo Parlamentario del Partido Verde subray\u00f3 que este proceso legislativo parte del reconocimiento al trabajo hist\u00f3rico de los maestros mezcaleros y no de la imposici\u00f3n de nuevos esquemas productivos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEsta Ley no busca cambiar su manera de hacer mezcal ni borrar la tradici\u00f3n. Al contrario, nace para reconocerla, cuidarla y darle un marco jur\u00eddico que les permita crecer con mayor certeza\u201d, expres\u00f3 ante los asistentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Garc\u00eda destac\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n el papel del Gobierno del Estado de M\u00e9xico, encabezado por la Delfina G\u00f3mez \u00c1lvarez, en la obtenci\u00f3n de la denominaci\u00f3n de origen, al se\u00f1alar que este logro debe traducirse ahora en una pol\u00edtica p\u00fablica integral que fortalezca la cadena productiva, dignifique a los productores y garantice la sustentabilidad del agave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La iniciativa presentada en octubre de 2025 ante la LXII Legislatura contempla, entre otros puntos, la creaci\u00f3n del Consejo Estatal del Mezcal, un Padr\u00f3n Estatal de Productores y Vinatas, as\u00ed como un Cap\u00edtulo de Resguardo Cultural que reconozca al mezcal como patrimonio inmaterial del Estado de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En la mesa de trabajo se explic\u00f3 que uno de los objetivos inmediatos es dotar a los productores de herramientas para la certificaci\u00f3n de sus productos conforme a la Norma NOM-070-SCFI-2016 y la Denominaci\u00f3n de Origen Mezcal, lo que permitir\u00eda elevar la competitividad del mezcal mexiquense en los mercados nacional e internacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Especialistas y funcionarios coincidieron en que el \u00e9xito de esta Ley depender\u00e1 del trabajo coordinado entre el Poder Legislativo, el Ejecutivo estatal, la academia y, principalmente, los propios maestros mezcaleros, por lo que se acord\u00f3 dar continuidad a estas mesas de an\u00e1lisis hasta consolidar una propuesta que responda a las necesidades reales del sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actualmente, el mezcal mexiquense representa un valor estimado de 72 mil millones de pesos y una producci\u00f3n anual cercana a las 23 mil toneladas de agave, resultado de una lucha jur\u00eddica de m\u00e1s de una d\u00e9cada para lograr el reconocimiento de una tradici\u00f3n ancestral que hoy busca respaldo legal para su futuro.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
