*PVEM respalda una resoluci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica para garantizar el derecho humano al agua<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ecatepec, EDOM\u00c9X.\u2013 En lo que fue calificado como un precedente hist\u00f3rico para la defensa de los derechos sociales, la diputada del Grupo Parlamentario del Partido Verde Ecologista de M\u00e9xico (PVEM), Miriam Silva Mata, anunci\u00f3 que la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Naci\u00f3n decidi\u00f3 ejercer su facultad de atracci\u00f3n sobre los amparos promovidos por la crisis del agua en Ecatepec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante una conferencia de prensa, la legisladora explic\u00f3 que esta determinaci\u00f3n marca un antes y un despu\u00e9s en la lucha por el acceso al agua, al reconocer que el desabasto que enfrenta uno de los municipios m\u00e1s poblados del pa\u00eds no es un problema local, sino de trascendencia nacional. La SCJN analizar\u00e1 el caso con la finalidad de definir un proyecto integral que garantice agua limpia y suficiente para los hogares de Ecatepec.
\u201cDurante a\u00f1os nos dijeron que no hab\u00eda agua y que deb\u00edamos conformarnos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hoy, la Corte nos da la raz\u00f3n al considerar que este asunto es de relevancia nacional. No solo estamos peleando por litros de agua, estamos peleando por la dignidad de las familias de Ecatepec\u201d, afirm\u00f3 Silva Mata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La diputada detall\u00f3 que la ruta jur\u00eddica inici\u00f3 hace m\u00e1s de cuatro a\u00f1os, acompa\u00f1ando a vecinas y vecinos que, pese a cumplir con el pago de impuestos, carec\u00edan del servicio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aunque se obtuvieron suspensiones definitivas y sentencias favorables, la autoridad municipal ha incumplido, vulnerando el derecho humano al agua, a la salud y a un medio ambiente sano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CRONOLOG\u00cdA DE LA DEFENSA: UN CAMINO DE RESISTENCIA<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2020\u20132024: Ante la escasez cr\u00edtica, se promovieron amparos colectivos durante la pandemia por COVID-19, logrando suspensiones definitivas a favor de la ciudadan\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actualidad: M\u00e1s de 7 mil 500 familias de 154 colonias cuentan con sentencias favorables, mismas que no han sido acatadas por la autoridad municipal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Escalada jur\u00eddica: Frente a la simulaci\u00f3n de cumplimiento y tras protestas pac\u00edficas, se solicit\u00f3 formalmente la atracci\u00f3n del caso por parte de la SCJN para definir el rumbo h\u00eddrico del municipio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En el acto, el coordinador parlamentario del PVEM, Jos\u00e9 Alberto Couttolenc Buentello, respald\u00f3 el trabajo de la diputada y subray\u00f3 que el acceso al agua es una de las principales banderas del partido en la entidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con la atracci\u00f3n del caso, la Suprema Corte deber\u00e1 emitir una sentencia que ponga fin a la discrecionalidad de las autoridades locales y siente un criterio nacional para garantizar el agua como un derecho inalienable, abriendo la puerta a una soluci\u00f3n estructural para Ecatepec y otros municipios con problem\u00e1ticas similares.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
