    Toluca, EDOM\u00c9X. \u2014 En un avance trascendental para la protecci\u00f3n de los ecosistemas y las tradiciones del Estado de M\u00e9xico, el Congreso local aprob\u00f3 por mayor\u00eda la Iniciativa en materia de Patrimonio Natural y Biocultural, presentada por el Grupo Parlamentario del Partido Verde Ecologista de M\u00e9xico (PVEM), coordinado por Jos\u00e9 Alberto Couttolenc Buentello.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Durante su intervenci\u00f3n en el pleno, \u201cPepe\u201d Couttolenc subray\u00f3 que esta iniciativa representa un compromiso firme del Partido Verde con el futuro del Estado de M\u00e9xico, al establecer bases legales para conservar no solo la biodiversidad, sino tambi\u00e9n los conocimientos, pr\u00e1cticas y expresiones culturales que conforman la identidad mexiquense. \u201cNuestro patrimonio natural y biocultural no es solo una herencia, es una responsabilidad que debemos asumir con visi\u00f3n de justicia ambiental y equidad intergeneracional\u201d, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    La reforma al C\u00f3digo para la Biodiversidad y la Ley Org\u00e1nica de la Administraci\u00f3n P\u00fablica estatal tiene como objetivo fortalecer la conservaci\u00f3n de ecosistemas, reconocer el valor de las tradiciones comunitarias vinculadas a la naturaleza, y fomentar su uso responsable. Entre sus puntos m\u00e1s relevantes destaca la creaci\u00f3n de un Cat\u00e1logo Estatal del Patrimonio Natural y Biocultural, as\u00ed como la implementaci\u00f3n de mecanismos de sanci\u00f3n contra quienes da\u00f1en estos recursos de forma ilegal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    El tambi\u00e9n secretario general del Partido Verde en el Estado de M\u00e9xico enfatiz\u00f3 la importancia de esta reforma en un contexto global de crisis ambiental. \u201cFrente al cambio clim\u00e1tico y la p\u00e9rdida de biodiversidad, los gobiernos deben actuar con determinaci\u00f3n. Esta propuesta del Partido Verde es una acci\u00f3n concreta y urgente\u201d, sostuvo Couttolenc, respaldado por su bancada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    El Estado de M\u00e9xico es una de las entidades con mayor riqueza ecol\u00f3gica y cultural del pa\u00eds, con m\u00e1s del 44% de su territorio protegido bajo distintas figuras legales, incluyendo \u00e1reas tan emblem\u00e1ticas como el Nevado de Toluca, la Reserva de la Mariposa Monarca y los humedales del sistema Lerma. Adem\u00e1s, cuenta con cuatro declaratorias de Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO, como la Zona Arqueol\u00f3gica de Teotihuac\u00e1n y el Acueducto del Padre Tembleque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    La iniciativa tambi\u00e9n fomenta la transmisi\u00f3n intergeneracional de saberes tradicionales, como la milpa mesoamericana y la recolecci\u00f3n artesanal de hongos, fortaleciendo el v\u00ednculo entre cultura y medio ambiente. Se reconoce as\u00ed que la identidad del Estado de M\u00e9xico no solo vive en sus monumentos o reservas, sino en las manos y la sabidur\u00eda de sus pueblos originarios y comunidades rurales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    El Grupo Parlamentario del PVEM reiter\u00f3 que esta reforma es una apuesta a largo plazo, donde la sustentabilidad y el respeto al entorno natural no se contrapongan al desarrollo, sino que lo gu\u00eden.
